I rather doubt that the "treasures" here are treasures in their own right.

We will go only as far west as we need, the south is our main goal for the moment.

... And no brother, it is not a treasure hunt, but we would be foolish not to take what we could to the surface. Who knows when we could retrive it again.

[The scratches are pretty darn huge, actually, one set gouging about a few inches into the floor. The sound of the air being pumped through the ducts just above the cieling makes a mice, low hum. However pretty much everyone can hear something being dragged around in one of the rooms.]

I have seen all number of things. They seem to change frequently. Diseased vermin, giant alligators, huge insects...

Insects... down here?

Something like them. The point is that there is a wide array of creatures to be careful of.

My guess is that is the rats. Light might ward them off. Fire will help for certain.

They are simply rats though.

Just as much as anything is simply itself in this place. No, they are bloodthirsty and rabid.
